The eighth grade at the time of the covid…

Starting from 31 December 2019 there was the first case of coronavirus in Wuhan, then also reported in Italy starting from March of the following year. Since then a real pandemic has been generated which has caused the death of many people and the closure of various activities and even the school: we have been in distance learning for more than a year and this has profoundly influenced our lives. This year, more than the previous months, we have in fact felt the effects of covid-19, starting from activities that we could no longer carry out as a year-end party or even the multi day school trip, an unforgettable experience that we could have shared with our classmates.

In addition, all these actions have been influenced by the new rules (wash your hands continuously, use the mask, keep a distance of at least one meter...), which have caused us very negative emotions such as sadness and loneliness.

It was in fact the same DAD who caused all of this in us because the distance from our friends and the ability to distract ourselves more easily had repercussions on us and on our emotions. While at first we were happy with this news, with the passing of the days we realized the gravity of the situation, fueled by the regret of not being able to leave the house and the lack of small actions and small things in life. While first linked in fact to be considered frivolous, today we understand its true importance and this saddens us, since we have not dedicated their time and real importance.

The doctors,by sacrificing their time and their lives, also helped us to understand this and to give birth to hope. Our deepest dream has therefore become to return to our lost normality in order to start all over again with a different approach. Solidarity and rebirth have in fact become the fundamental words of this new era.
